Honduras Begins Descent

The following excerpt is from the following website:

A bomb exploded at the Lawyers' College in Honduran capital Tegucigalpa, a local radio station reported Sunday. The bomb, which did not cause any serious damage, exploded at 11:30 p.m. local time on Saturday (0530 GMT) just as the nation was beginning a curfew, a resident told the station. The building is in a southern Tegucigalpa neighborhood close to busy restaurants and night clubs. Since June 28 coup that brought down President Manuel Zelaya, two bombs have exploded in the offices of broadcaster Canal 11 and those of the state's Migration Agency. Two more were found and defused. Honduras' civil conflict has been intensifying ahead of Zelaya's planned return within a few hours.

Excerpt over. With the talks in Costa Rica officially declared dead, with some chatter about a continued talk on Wednesday, this bombing shows the lengths Zelaya's supporters are willing to go.

Violence is not the answer. Protest without violence. If you use no violence there will be no curfew or media restriction. Your voices will be heard if you use them instead of weapons. No more violence. Bloodshed will not solve this crisis. A democracy is formed through discussion and writings of law; not the skulls of those you disagree with or the blood of the innocent.
