Welcome!

Congress? You reading this? Yeah, I'm talking to you. I'm a citizen and you're kinda sorta supposed to listen to me. I may not have voted for you, but the least you could do is represent me. Anyone else reading this, tell me what you think. This blog isn't just a blog, its interactive so get involved and speak your mind! Literally of course.

Governor Race Fielded

So far, with hopefully the field set for primaries and the run to the ballot, here is a list of all candidates for Governor:

Democrats:
Donna Dion
Dawn Hill
Eriq Manson
Libby Mitchell
Steve Rowe
Rosa Scarcelli
Peter Truman

Republicans:
Matt Jacobson
Paul Lepage
Peter Mills
Les Otten
Bruce Poliquin

Green Party:
Patrick Quinlan
Lynne Williams

Independent:
Sam Bailey
Beverly Cooper-Pete
Eliot Cutler
Augustus Edgerton
Alex Hammer
John Whitcomb

Personally to choose who I would prefer to see in the final election would include Bruce Poliquin for the GOP side and Rosa Scarcelli for the Democrat side. The other candidates do not have platforms I see as winning over more than half of Maine and Scarcelli as an underdog has her work cut out for her.

the other candidates do not have a platform? Have you been to Millformaine.com? Peter has had a platform for a long time. Peter is also a candidate with proven record and proven name recognition among Maine voters (as shown in recent polls).

Not having a platform and not having a winning platform are two different things. I know they all have platforms, but for them to win they should appeal to the senses and reality that all Mainer's live with.

The liberals Peter JacobOtten should drop out. If they're going to sound like, contribute to, and cuddle up to Democrats in their own primary, we should expect the same if one of them becomes Governor. We need a real conservative in the Blaine House and that's Poliquin of LePage.

Alex i'm going to give it to you straight: your economic plan should come in a conversational tone, not a research paper. Voters could take hours to look through your sources and information but you have them embedded in your reading there in a way which takes away from the context of what you intend us to take away. Tell it to us straight Alex.
