Anyone else reading this, tell me what you think. This blog isn't just a blog, its interactive so get involved and speak your mind! Literally of course.

Powell Contradicts His Endorsement

http://news.aol.com/article/powell-warns-obama-on-big-government/556058?icid=webmailwbml-aimdl6link3http%3A%2F%2Fnews.aol.com%2Farticle%2Fpowell-warns-obama-on-big-government%2F556058

He endorsed Barack Obama, who didn't lie about the massive tax cap and trade was, didn't lie about health care, didn't lie about the stimulus proposals. So why did Powell endorse someone who, as in the article he warns Obama against (too late), :
"Keep it as small as possible. Keep the tax burden on the American people as small as possible, but at the same time, have government that is solving the problems of the people,"
"The right answer is, 'Give me a government that works,'" the former secretary of state said in a television interview to be aired Sunday. "Keep it as small as possible," added Powell, who said he has spoken recently with Obama and stays in touch with him.

Excerpt over. If Powell believed those words, he would not have endorsed Barack Obama. If he does believe those words, there was another reason for his endorsement of Obama. I just know Powell, by endorsing Obama, betrayed these beliefs.
