Welcome!

Congress? You reading this? Yeah, I'm talking to you. I'm a citizen and you're kinda sorta supposed to listen to me. I may not have voted for you, but the least you could do is represent me. Anyone else reading this, tell me what you think. This blog isn't just a blog, its interactive so get involved and speak your mind! Literally of course.

My Favorite Democrat

Rosa Scarcelli is my favorite Democrat for the following reason: the first sentence on her issues page was as follows:

State government can’t create jobs, but we can create a climate for businesses to grow and expand

Excerpt over. This is why she is my favorite Democrat. Compare this to Donna Dion:

We can build from the blueprint to form a strong State structure that will carry all citizens forward to a better tomorrow.

Excerpt over. Lets clear this statement up a little:

We can build a strong State structure that will carry all citizens.

Clearing over. I'd quote other Democrats, but they have been ridiculously slow in making websites that prove they are serious about running. As a Republican it is painful to hear anyone believe the solutions to our lives problems are going to come from the government.

Sure, if I need some invading enemy nation taken care of, the government can have at it. It is the only thing the government does well.

If I need a job I want to go to a business, not a government office.
If I need to be treated for something I want to go to a hospital, not a government clinic.
If I need food I want to buy what appeals to me at a grocery store, not a government stocked bunker where what I get is determined by a rations card.
If I want clothing I want to go to a business, not a government supply center where I will be turned away if I purchased clothes already regardless of the value of my money.
If I need money I want to earn it, not be given a check in the mail for being a citizen.
