Welcome!

Congress? You reading this? Yeah, I'm talking to you. I'm a citizen and you're kinda sorta supposed to listen to me. I may not have voted for you, but the least you could do is represent me. Anyone else reading this, tell me what you think. This blog isn't just a blog, its interactive so get involved and speak your mind! Literally of course.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell

As one is beaten in the streets of America,
an enemy waits silently hidden in a far away place.
The victim of both attacks is freedom,
So let those who fight for freedom do so in safety from their fellow Americans,
Don't repeal "Don't ask, don't tell".

I think that the policy should be repealed. People have a right to serve. Their orientation is no one's business but the person they love and live with. The policy is the same that we had until President Truman ended the race barrier in the military. Everyone said it would be the ruin of the military and instead it only made it better.
